Sparkling Raspberry Iced Rooibos Tea

Here at One World Market, we’re savoring the last few weeks of summer. We’re soaking up the sunshine on the Duke Campus loop, enjoying late afternoon dinners at Geer Street Garden, and let’s not forget a scoop or three of ice cream from The Parlor!

Another treat we’ve been enjoying here at the store are refreshing glasses of Sparkling Raspberry Iced Rooibos Tea.

It’s so simple to make, and we love the extra zest of freshness from the lime wedges. Plus Rooibos Tea is oh so good for you; it’s super high in antioxidants! Try it – we know you’ll love it too!

Sparkling Raspberry Iced Rooibos Tea

Ingredients

3-5 fresh raspberries, crushed with juice
1-2 Tablespoons simple syrup, flavored or plain
2 lime wedges
2 Equal Exchange Organic Rooibos tea bags – Available at One World Market
1 cup hot water
1 cup seltzer water (raspberry flavored or plain)
ice

Steep 2 rooibos tea bags in 1 cup hot water for 3 minutes.

Remove tea bags, squeezing out excess tea water into the cup. Let cool.

Add ice, raspberries and juice, simple syrup, and seltzer to cup.

Squeeze limes and add to drink.

Mix well.

Serves one (16 oz.)
